Cookie policy

This is a translation. If in doubt, the Spanish version prevails.
CRIN uses no advertising cookies. It keeps in your browser what is essential for the website to work or to remember what you asked for, which doesn’t need your consent (Article 22.2 LSSI).
And only if you accept, on its public pages (the home page and these legal pages) it uses Microsoft Clarity, an analytics tool, to see how they are used and improve them. On the competitions’ pages (some are for minors), inside the apps (the club’s website, the rider app and the professional app) and on your account’s pages, never.
What CRIN keeps in your browser
| Name | Type | What for | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-…-auth-token | Cookie | Your session: so you stay signed in to your account when you come back. Erased when you sign out. | Until you sign out (400 days at most) |
| sb-…-auth-token-code-verifier | Cookie | While you sign in with Google: checking that the way back is your browser’s. | Until you finish signing in |
| crin-invitacion | Local storage | A club’s invitation you opened before having an account, to come back to it when you create one. | Until you accept it |
| crin-volver | Local storage | The page to come back to after signing in with a link from an email (for example, an entry to a competition). | Until you sign in (one day at most) |
| crin-idioma | Cookie | The language you see CRIN in (Spanish, Catalan or English): the one you choose or, if you sign in with your account, your account’s, so pages open in it from the very first moment. | One year |
| crin-idioma-aviso | Cookie | So the note that a public page (a competition, the home page, these pages) is also in your language doesn’t come back if you closed it: it keeps that language. | One year |
| crin-nav-v1 | Session storage | Where “Back” takes you and which filters you had on each screen, in that tab. | Until you close the tab |
| crin-install-dismissed | Local storage | So the prompt to install the app doesn’t come back if you closed it. | Until you clear the site’s data |
| crin-criny:… | Local storage | So the “Questions? Ask Criny” prompt only shows the first time you open the apps: once per person on this device. | Until you clear the site’s data |
| crin-filtros-concursos:… | Local storage | Remembering your competition filters (place, dates, discipline, level…) for the next time you open the list: only the filters, kept apart for each person who signs in on this device. | Until you clear the filters or the site’s data |
| crin-push-v1 | Local storage | Which apps on this device you turned notifications on for, and the delivery address your browser gave it, to keep them when you come back. | Until you turn them off, sign out of your account or clear the site’s data |
| crin-checkout-account:… | Session storage | Carrying on with a payment when you come back from your bank’s page. | Until you close the tab |
| __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe cookies | Preventing fraud in payments. Only created when a payment is opened. | One year and 30 minutes |
| crin-cookies | Local storage | Your choice about the analytics cookies (accepted or declined) and its date, to respect it without asking you again. | One year; then we ask you again |
Cloudflare, which serves the website, may also use technical security cookies (for example, __cf_bm) to tell visits by people from those by automated programs.
The website’s fonts are downloaded from Google Fonts. That creates no cookies, but your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address (more details in the privacy policy).
Analytics cookies, only if you accept them
Microsoft Clarity records how the public pages are used: clicks, scrolling, mouse movements, screen size, device and browser, the page you came from and an approximate location from your IP address. With that, CRIN sees reports, heatmaps and recordings of visits, with what you type and people’s data hidden. Microsoft processes it on CRIN’s behalf, and CRIN tells it not to use it for advertising (more details in the privacy policy).
| Name | Type | What for | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _clck | Microsoft Clarity cookie, of this website | A pseudonymous identifier of your browser on this website, to recognise your next visits. | One year |
| _clsk | Microsoft Clarity cookie, of this website | Links the pages you open in a single visit. | One day |
| CLID | Microsoft Clarity cookie, of clarity.ms | Recognises the first time Clarity saw your browser on any website that uses it. | One year |
| MUID | Microsoft cookie, of its domains | Identifies the browsers that visit Microsoft sites; Microsoft uses it for advertising, analytics and other operational purposes. CRIN tells it not to use it for advertising. | One year |
| ANONCHK | Microsoft cookie, of its domains | Says whether MUID is passed to ANID, an advertising cookie. Clarity doesn’t use ANID and it is always 0. | 10 minutes |
| MR | Microsoft cookie, of its domains | Says whether MUID needs renewing. | 7 days |
| SM | Microsoft cookie, of its domains | Synchronises MUID across Microsoft’s domains. | Until you close the browser |
_clck and _clsk belong to this website; Microsoft sets the others on its own domains (clarity.ms and bing.com). Microsoft sets the durations and they may change: your browser shows the exact ones.
Until you accept them, CRIN doesn’t load Clarity: your browser doesn’t connect to Microsoft and none of these cookies is created.
Your choice
The first time you open a public page, CRIN asks you with two identical buttons, “Decline” and “Accept”. Until you choose, Clarity isn’t loaded. Your choice is kept in this browser (crin-cookies) for a year; then we ask you again.
Change my choice
You can change it whenever you like here: you get here from “Cookie policy”, at the foot of the public pages. If you decline them after accepting them, CRIN stops loading Clarity, asks it to delete its cookies and deletes this website’s. You can also delete Microsoft’s, on its own domains, from your browser.
Notifications and the installed app
If you turn notifications on or install CRIN on your home screen, it is your browser that keeps that permission, and you can remove it in its settings.
When you turn notifications on, your browser gives CRIN a delivery address in its notification service; CRIN keeps it to send you that app’s notices, encrypted, and stops using it when you turn them off or withdraw the permission, or when you sign out of your account on that device (if you sign out on all your devices, on all of them). The service worker that makes the app installable and shows notifications doesn’t keep copies of the pages.
How to delete or block them
You can delete what CRIN keeps, or prevent it, in your browser’s privacy settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge…). If you block it, the website works, but it won’t remember your preferences.
